Season’s Greetings from Indira Gandhi National Open University!

It is our immense pleasure to request you to contribute manuscripts of your
original research papers, scholarly articles for publication in Indian
Journal of Open Learning (IJOL), published by Indira Gandhi National Open
University since 1992.

IJOL is a peer reviewed international journal. The sole aim of this journal
is to disseminate information about theory, practice and research in the
field of open and distance education, including correspondence and
multi-media education; education technology and communication; independent
and experiential learning and other innovative forms of education and
provide a forum for debate across the world on these areas with particular
reference to India and other developing nations. Therefore, since the
journal inception, it has been our collective strive to reach maximum number
of researchers/readers/faculties/learners associated with open and distance
education.

This refereed journal is internationally contributed, subscribed and
abstracted and publishes research papers, scholarly articles, case studies,
book reviews and workshop reports related to above mentioned fields within
the aim and scope of the journal.  It is published thrice a year -- in
